The first article of Camille Rabeau (CIFRE PhD student @inrae-bioger.bsky.social and @innolea) now on bioRxiv. Camille characterized Leptosphaeria maculans effector genes expressed during stem colonization of rapeseed and identified new resistance sources. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Conserved 'late' effector genes from Leptosphaeria maculans inducing gene-for-gene quantitative resistance in Brassica napus semi-winter genotypes
Leptosphaeria maculans is a phytopathogenic fungus responsible for stem canker on Brassica napus . Its infectious cycle goes through an early phase of leaf infection and a late phase of colonization a...

Proud to see that story out! Our demonstration that part of the Leptosphaeria maculans effector genes are under the dual control of a chromatin-remodeler and a specific transcription factor. A work performed by @ColinClairet during his PhD, co-supervised with @soyer_jessica.
