Met a kid yesterday who did Skillbridge with Google, they were looking for someone who had experience similar to what Resource Advisors do. He did so well they offered him a full time role. Skillbridge is a great program.

Anyone remember Phil Colins’s Land of Contusion? The line “my generation will make it right, we’re not just making promises that we know, we’ll never keep.” I feel like Phil’s generation didn’t put it right and very much make done promises they didn’t keep.

I had the opportunity to work with people at USAID, and while they weren’t all my cup of tea they were by far and away dedicated professionals who loved their country and genuinely wanted to help out others across the world.
