Well, it's official. Tomorrow, im having my friends take Vivi in to be put to sleep. She likely has liver failure and hasn't been eating, super lethargic, and only drinks a ton of water. She made it to 16 which is farther then I ever thought she would. Im heartbroken I cant be there with her

Got out of my introverted shell and went out with classmates after class. Ended up with 8 of us at an izukaya. Ate lots of food and drank lots of beer. 10/10 night!

Sitting in the airport. I'm still in a state of disbelief that I had just left my house for the last time. That I won't be coming back from Japan for at least 2 years (minus visits). I dont think it's gonna hit me till I step off the plane it Tokyo

Man, been listening to "Infinite Baths" by Sleep Token and it's like my mantra for this move to Japan. It really encapsulates how I feel about it. Fighting so hard to be somewhere and even though I'll be alone, it's worth it. That and my battle to be comfy with who I am as a person. Good shit.

Looking around at places/things I want to do in the general Osaka area. Realizing that much like my current situation, everything is about 45 - 90 min away via train. Which is ideal imo. Parents staying downtown 45 min. Katsuoji temple? 90 min. I'm so fucking excited. 8 days to go!

Been prepping a lot mentally for my journey to Japan. Just thinking about how this is another book in life, instead of chapter. How the tattoos I've gotten represent that. 1st was mistakes/loss (Ifrit), 2nd was the growth/balance (Shiva), and now, a new journey/experience. (Garuda)
