I learned recently that there’s an artifact in my house of a “Davening Rabbi”. My grandparents acquired this on a trip to Israel circa 1971. The head can bob up and down. I believe the sculptor’s name is Frank Meisler.

Greetings to my new followers! As you may have seen, I run a site that documents neurodiversity history. This year in particular has seen some big wins to that end. Earlier this year, I received files for the Autreat list in Yahoo Groups, which came w/rare high quality Autreat graphics!

This is my uncle’s dog Frodo(far right), whos about a year old, playing with Bailey and Nugget when they were all over for a week this summer. And there’s me playing Pikmin lol.

This is my older sister’s dog, Nugget. He’s also about 18 months. Very cute and cuddly, can get very feral. He kinda has bursts of energy that he fades in and out of. He likes to greet people with jumping and biting, which I’ve nicknamed “the shark attack”.

This is my sister’s dog Bailey, a black lab who is about 18 months old. Very sweet and friendly, loves to play. Really loves water in particular.

I haven’t shared my dogs on here yet. What kind of dog person am I? Anyway, these are the 2 guys I live with, Bella (left) and Pepper (right). They’re actually quite cat like, mainly bc of their size. Bella is very sweet, Pepper can be but is mosty quite feisty!

This guy, delaware the epaulette shark, comes out very rarely but it’s always a pleasure when she does. Epaulette sharks do this thing where they basically “crawl” on thr floor with pectoral fins. There’s also a very photogenic parrot fish here.

I joke that the aquarium is very effective shark propaganda. The zebra sharks are among my favorites (though my absolute favorite zebra shark is not pictured). One of them here is seemingly trying to bite the fin of another.

Reminder that I work at an aquarium. I basically talk to people about the animals. It can be draining but it’s a great job overall. Anyway here are some animal pics

This was my neighbor’s cat Jessie in my driveway yesterday, giving me a “what are YOU doing on MY property? “ kinda look. She’s always been quite sassy.

Definitely a dog person through and through. Been around them my whoe life, they are one of my favorite things about life. I know it’s rare for an autistic person to prefer dogs, but it’s simply bc Ive been around them more than cats. I have family members who are allergic to cats. I like cats tho.
