It's frustrating taking a hit early in a match. Makes you want to quit, especially in East only games where you aren't going to have time to make a comeback. Unless you're the last dealer and play like a god.

You're already in second place and it's all last. I know that chinitsu looks good to get you into first but this was not the time to "see if they have it."

Hid the names to protect the innocent, but thought this might be a good mahjong teaching moment. Sure the 3s looked dangerous so can see not throwing it, but of you aren't tenpai anyway and can just follow cut for the last discard of the match then its probably a good idea to do so.

Sneaking in some Mahjong Soul. Kan the green dragon, makes them dora, replacement tile makes tenpai, declare riichi, immediate deal in from right player, ura dora hits. Only a matter of time before I'm back in gold room.
