The movie Nobody was pretty meh, but had decent action. The movie Nobody2 is so ridiculous it’s ALMOST a comedy but falls short bc it’s so desperate to show masculinity for the “Everyman”.

I really just wish the Ballerina chose an actress with a better athletic frame or more muscle and athleticism in their fighting skills. Ana De Armas is a fine actress but she moves like a skinny girl. I understand the ballerina aspect but those girls are still strong as fuck.

Finally watching the Minecraft movie. I love how it’s like a classic 80s style adventure movie for kids. I haaate how all the girls in the movie have to be the sassy “you can’t do that” type. Why can’t we have one single wild and out of control girl in this show too.

Hey if you’re looking for something exciting and thrilling to watch - Dope Thief is REALLY good. It’s a detective/DEA/Criminal/informant/organized crime type show. Super good. Kind of like The Wire vibes.

I can not articulate properly just how much I LOVE Pokerface! I swear to god I am so happy to have a woman lead like Natasha Leone be a lead in a fun murder mystery show. And using Burn Notice as background on some of the episodes is amazing.

I haven’t really thought about it deeply but the demographic going to see the Minecraft movie being so overly destructive and mildly violent makes me feel so uncomfortable. I love the idea of a movie made for kids that engages them, but y u destroy?

I feel like I’m the only person who has ever watched Twisted Metal. The show is actually pretty good. I just really don’t love the main actor. He feels like a blank slate.

How can ANYONE watch this show The Recruit!! It’s so bad, the guy is incredibly unlikeable, and it’s just….. like…… super male white privilege/ failing up as the main story line. Wtf. (My husband loves this shit, btw, which is why it’s on in my livingroom)

I’m just starting The Gorge now. I just really wish that when they’re trying to cast a woman for a role where she’s a military trained soldier that they make sure that she has some muscle. Stick skinny arms doing action moves make me sad

I don’t know what it is about Anthony Mackie but I just find him super bland in every role he plays. I’m watching Twister Metal which is a genre right up my alley but find myself wishing it was someone like Coleman Domingo playing this role. Someone with some spice. Mackie is just, meh.

Watching 6 Triple 8 and it just makes me so angry that we have all these movies telling all these stories and yet still we have men and white folks confused why oppressed groups can’t just jump into a space and match the ppl who have been there since the jump.
