Re today: I'm old enough to have lived through '80s-'90s elections in which self-styled Dem-strategy realists urged candidates to walk away from gay-rights issues to prove Democrats can be "normal." Now they're doing it to trans people. Those strategists are a disease, in media and within the party.

So yes, while I forgot I had an account, I learned to crochet, made two sweaters, and was very relieved that nobody tried to attack or start a riot at my place of employment during elections, which should be a given and not something to celebrate, but lol America.

(Despite the right wing's constant efforts, anyway.)
