I started playing the new Donkey Kong game on Switch 2 and was delighted to find out that every time DK gets one of these giant crystal bananas, he goons out for a few seconds. Tongue out, eyes crossed, etc. DK is a gooner.

After a drunk brunch last weekend, we stopped by Elliott Bay Book Co. and I found the cutest cards (I bought 5). I love the idea of a little dog being tortured with bows and outfits and being miserable. I can't wait to use them as birthday cards as aging jokes.

Someone posted about White Lotus and used the Britney Spear's Blackout album art, and I was struck by its similarity to a fairly recent addition of public art here in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood (Pike/Pine area) by Ben Zamora. It's near the gay bars Diesel/MadPub/Cuff/Pony.
