Linux is plug and play. This is what happens on Fedora (the linux distro I use) when I plug in a USB. It comes up with the popup in the picture and I can either click to open it there (just like Windows) or in the file explorer (just like Windows).

A picture of my Fedora 43 Linux install, using KDE Plasma (the default kind of desktop for the installer in the linked article), and a cool theme I liked called Sweet KDE. The windows open are the Strawberry music player and the Discover application store, for browsing new applications with a GUI (graphical interface) instead of a CLI (command line). This is the Settings menu for Fedora 43. It is laid out and behaves very similarly to Windows. This pops up when you plug in a USB by default. You can click to open it just like you would on Windows, or if you miss the popup, you can just click on the USB in the Dolphin file explorer, which works just like File Explorer in Windows, and it will mount and open it for you automatically.

What software do you want to use? This is LibreOffice Writer, it's basically free MS Word. It also works on Windows if you want to try it for yourself.

Linux CAN in fact do plug-n-play just fine. If you get a distro like Fedora (my personal favorite), it's basically just Windows, but faster to install, and less invasive to use. It even has an application store that also lets you manage system updates:
"Discover" application store on Fedora 43 (a Linux distro) with the "Sweet Candy" icon pack, which works like themes in Windows. It allows you to install new applications, manage system updates, apply themes, all in one place.

You are wrong and you should be more responsible when claiming something is AI generated, especially as a game dev. You say you don't want to criticize Jen Taylor's delivery or accuse Halo devs of using genAI without proof but that is literally what you've just done.

My intention isn't to criticize the actress for a fumbled line or accuse the studio of using AI-generated voices without proof. But given Microsoft's aggressive push towards AI-assisted development, I think my skepticism perfectly is warranted. Halo is not using generative AI in its game development, it's claimed Jez Corden, a well-known journalist and insider from Windows Central, chimed in on X (Twitter) to say that the rumors about Halo Studios using generative AI in its game development aren't true. According to him, "Halo is not using generative AI in its game dev/art assets, etc., for its next game. Microsoft has no mandate on studios to use generative AI for games. I'm sure it's being used for emails... but they're not making a gen AI game here." When I was growing up, my family moved around a lot. Friends came and went but for a while, I had some good ones that kept in contact. As time went on, school picked up, and then I got my first real job. After that I moved about once a year with little warning and had less time for myself than ever.

Ice of Spades, sometimes known as "Borealis". A blue nardoragon often seen sporting mechanical legs or other augments. His specific strain is reminiscent of an aquatic creature, which is especially apparent due to his dolphin-like tail. He breathes ice rather than fire and is quite resistant to cold as a result.

You actually can by reporting them to bsky's moderation, they have an option for untagged NSFW imagery. Bsky's label bot (the same one some people seem to rely on) is not very efficient, this is the only way it finds some of the images.

Marking things as NSFW and adding tags will NEVER hurt your views on bsky because the users who want to see them can have them SHOW by default. The only thing you accomplish by not tagging and marking properly is ensuring the people who don't want to see your stuff have no choice.
A screenshot of bsky's moderation tools located in the Settings menu. You can enable adult content to show NSFW imagery and then choose whether or not to show Sexual images, Suggestive images, Graphic images, or Non-Sexual nudity. These can be toggles individually so you have full control of what you can and can't see, provided the artist actually applies tags and markings like they're supposed to. A screenshot of the Labels you can apply to images when you post them on bsky. You can set them as Suggestive (but not nude), Nude (but not sexual), or Adult as in nude and doing something sexual. You can also mark them as Graphic, if they contain gore you think some users might find upsetting. It never hurts to add more labels because the users who want to see what they hide can choose to show them anyway. These are different from Tags, as in hashtags, which is important to note because sometimes things marked as #nsfw will not be labelled as Adult Content automatically.

This piece is quite unfinished and will hopefully remain so. I started it after my first furry convention out of despair at having to return to my ordinary life. I was afraid I might never experience anything like that again. The alt text gives more information on what it's supposed to be.
An unfinished, empty alleyway leading to nowhere. Off to the right is a gap in the buildings leading to a small courtyard where there is a small tree illuminated by a shaft of light and a red ball beneath it. There is supposed to be a trio of indistinct but obviously furry characters playing beneath the tree, watched on from the perspective of the viewer. Marching down the alleyway would be a line of people, dark and miserable, all walking towards an unspecified doom directly ahead. The person nearest the viewer would have their head turned towards the courtyard in despair and longing because they were stuck in the line, not knowing how to join in.

This piece is called "Stop smiling, tell them what's wrong". I made it recently after finally admitting to myself that I wasn't happy with how my life was going. I had a bit of a revelation that a grin is the last expression we ever make so we shouldn't neglect the others while we have them.
