I sometimes find myself unable to embrace feminist rhetoric online because of white women undermining that sense of unity.
So, when I see something feminist, I immediately consider intersectionality. Because a lot of people talk, but look at the last election. WW voted largely for Trump.

Some people quietly see everything as competition. Even when they're not trying to actively compete. Because of how we tend to monetize and incentivize talent, people often treat even basic hobbies as a commodity they're potentially trying to sell/use to compete.
Comments like: “I will never pick up a pencil again” or “i should kms” under other peoples work rlly makes me question if some of y’all just think art is a competition. For me it’s about personal creative expression rather than feeling the need to say something so weird and hide it as a compliment.

It's interesting how, as Bluesky rises, Twitter's feed is getting worse. I guess the people drain can't be disguised by bots for long.

I would like to push to have OP-EDs banned from the news. I am only an amateur. However, I think they're unnecessary.
The news should be reserved for factual info, not opinion pieces. It's almost predatory that people are allowed to exalt their opinions near actual news.

They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

Good. It’s horrific how other platforms abused their reach to strangle local, independent, and national outlets alike.

I liked Darth Vader as a villain but I never liked him so much that I'd dream about serving his cause. Some people really emphasize with Vader/Anakin too much, especially in areas where the story and Vader tell you thinking certain ways is wrong too
