Reading a great book on Coaching and came across this passage. How it resonates with what is happening in the UK these days.

Despite record rainfall for October, Goa is still a beautiful and magical place to visit.

But it’d be nice if the rain gods pissed off now. Thanks.

This is Sophie, one of the many dogs cared for at the guest house we’re staying at in Goa.

Sophie likes to be petted. If you stop petting her she wants to know why and for service to be resumed at once.

Despite it being a bit rainy and the mosquitoes a bit bitey India is not disappointing. Great trip around Old Goa and Panjim yesterday. Today is a designated reading and snoozing day. Later in the week will be waterfalls and markets and more bitey insects.

Me and the husband have been going 18 years so far. How long did his marriages last?

Isn’t it nice when you find an album you haven’t listened to in simply years and it’s like a warm hug from a long lost friend?

That.

This is where I’m based for the next few days. Aiming to do some writing, stay dry, eat bad stuff, and explore the area a bit. Also sleeping. And dozing. And napping.

Having a few days in East Anglia. First up: Sutton Hoo. What an amazing place.

We have a Labrador. Today our life is completely centred around a never-ending game of fetch. Goodness me, our girl is relentless. But thankfully, adorable too.

We’ve arrived in #Edinburgh for #Edfringe and we are very pleased with our posters and their locations. Here’s me and Pierse standing by a poster with us on it - very meta.

#Locusts starts tomorrow. TheSpaceUK Triplex at 16:05pm until the 9th.

“Tell me about your mother” - the origin of that question has stuck in my mind since I was the first time I came out. I was 17 years old.

Come see Locusts to discover why.

This issue of “consent” is irrelevant. Many victims of conversion therapy, myself included, consented because we were led to believe this was God’s will by our church leaders. I was a teenager, and I believed these people - I revered them. My consent didn’t make it any less damaging. Ban it now.

Why proofreading is important.

(This appeared on my FB timeline this morning and I don’t hade a beer belly, they are just rude)

Look at me being an artsy-fartsy outdoor Shakespeare director. My Much Ado opens tonight at The White Rock Pub in Underriver, near Sevenoaks. It’s a joy!

Finally getting my hands on an #EdFringe programme and seeing our play listed in it is always a buzz. This is year 7 for us and it’s still a thrill.

If you’re nearby come see #Locusts this August, and come say hello!
June 18, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Our acclaimed play #Locusts is returning to Edinburgh for a week this summer. Locusts is a powerful and beautiful play about love, family, and belief - and how these elements shape and affect us.

Locusts is at theSpace Triplex from August 1st to 9th.

It’s always a thrill when your show appears in the @edfringe.bsky.social programme. Locusts is only there for a week this year but given the response it’s getting it’ll likely be back.

Fringe Review just awarded Locusts “Outstanding Show” status.

If you’re in #Edinburgh don’t miss it!
