Anti-corruption seems a very strong issue to get Republicans to vote for @aftynbehn.bsky.social . Way more than affordability and healthcare, IMO. While it's important to get Dems out, it's also critical to erode the R vote, no?

And the free market is serving us so well recently. Such efficience.

It's hoss-style and unbecoming. I'm sorry but sometimes voices need to be raised.

Yabbut how do you handle one that consistently refuses to pay their late fees? Eviction (over here at least) is damn near impossible.

The initial offers in the "CBA" were enticing to a beleaguered District 1, and also super ambiguous - like giving 150k over some years to a yet-to-be formed community 501c3 to spend on whatever. Sounds ok on a white board, but details matter(ed). It was sensationalist for NC5 to frame it like that.

Yeahhhh, it's not "100% in agreement" about this right now, by a long shot. There've been 6 community mtgs over 2+ years abt this w/ consistent contention over land use policy and community costs/benefits. A well-funded canvassing campaign over the last 2 years has activated new vocal support (viz).

I'd like to see a free market adjustment of incentives that result in regenerative instead of exploitive practices.

When do we have to start referring to him as "Dear Leader"
May 14, 2025 at 5:08 PM
This implies that there is an amount that is "enough" for billionaires. We should start asking grift deniers "How much is enough money for a billionaire, then?"

What's the monthly mortgage work out?
May 14, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Yes, but it's always a foul ball, so you can never get there. You have to throw your signals, make the running slide, then get back up and walk back to second. For eternity.

Pete Rose is shrugging in his grave! A sign he's going to steal third.
