So, yeah. I love this movie. Great soundtrack. I enjoyed both the mid credit and post credit scenes. I did see some complain about a lack of "action" in the movie, I agree, but disagree. There wasn't a lot but when it was there, it was...fantastic.

As for the villains, I like what they did. They nerfed Galactus by portraying him as far too overconfident, which is fine by me. And using her as Silver Surfer was a fine choice for a change in the move while also being a nod to the Surfer's original material. Both good for the movie.

As for Reed Richards; Pedro Pascal tried his best. And he did a decent job. But that man is too cool of a man to portray an awkward super nerd. He did nail loving dad and stretchy action hero who comes up with super science plans, so he mostly got there. Just not "nerdy" enough.

I'm glad they showed Ben Grimm and his religion. He might be the most famous modern day comic book Jewish person there is (maybe I'm forgetting someone). And somehow that actor conveyed so much emotion with what he didn't say than what he did say. Arguably, he humanized the movie more than anyone.

Also, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm Richards was fantastic. What her character did in this movie...I won't say because of spoilers, but she was truly fantastic. The other 3 were too, but she felt above and beyond to me. That "as a family" speech was wonderful.

But more than anyone else, an established FF elevates Johnny Storm's character. He's learned from the rest of the FF go beyond the "I'm a single guy wanting to screw every single woman I find." This version of Johnny really helps this film, emphasizing how capable they all individually are.

Unlike all the other FF movies, this FF has been doing their thing for years when this movie starts. Sue/Reed are already together, baby on the way. Ben's accepted who he is, even there's still lament. It's a good choice with the same characters, but a different take.

There's a mid credits scene and an almost 3 minutes post credits scene.

Honestly, as I write this, I want to watch this movie again, something I haven't said about a Marvel movie in a while. It was that good to me. If it somehow flops, it'll be for reasons other than quality.

P.S. The "villains" are done well too.

Ghost: I wish they explored her mindset a bit more, but what we got was good. If there's a sequel, I hope we get it there.
US Ag, er, John Walker: Somehow they found a way to rehab his character from F&WS to be really likable. I was surprised.
Bob: Done appropriately. Saying more would be spoilers.

Going thru the characters briefly:

Yelena Belova: Great lead for this movie. Awesome.
Red Guardian: I heart him.
Bucky: I wanted more for him, but he still got to shine a good deal in the movie, being depicted as the most competent one of the group.
Taskmaster: My true thoughts are spoilers, so...

One more last thing, there's a mid AND a post credit scene. The mid credit scene has noteworthy plot stuff. The post credit scene is a nice endcap scene.

One last thing. I'm terrible, but I couldn't help a moment where I saw those actors as Killmonger, Hawkeke and B-15 instead.

Only issue I had in this movie was at one point, one of the characters plays music and something ... weird ... happens. It was a good weird in that I liked seeing it on the screen, but in hindsight feels out of place for the movie (at least for me). Still, a great black/asian horror/suspense movie.

But, it's that ending that really had me intrigued by the movie. I did not expect that and it was a good endcap for the movie that reframes the movie in a good way. And of course, I enjoyed seeing black empowerment amongst the Jim Crow south. Also, the "villains" were well done and thought out.

To be fair, I did laugh during a good portion of the movie. And I saw it in 4DX which is a lot of fun, so I guess I'm more thumbs up than down. If only I played more Minecraft I suppose.

That movie is basically fan service and more fan service, and from what little I know, it looks like they did a good job...just wasted on me. The plot was nonsensical and contradictory at points, but I think that was the intent, to be a wild wacky movie you're not supposed to think about.

Jason Momoa was his typical self. He didn't detract too much and somehow weirdly worked with Jack Black's humor/acting. The others were just meh...except Jennifer Coolidge who was "special" in that movie. Her "over the top" ness pleased me.
