Yeah. It puzzles me as to why the solution to that is to give it a pass on merge rules.

The nice thing about Japan is that the border folks and law enforcement will generally follow those rules to the letter. So you know what to expect but you might not get any leeway to bring even small amounts over the limit.

The worst is only because the trains are so good that their popularity makes them really crowded. Also because everything else is so good.

The network policy bit they have is helpful; though it's going to be annoying for users to curate it in practice I would think.

I have a similar repo but I use an actual sandbox runtime which gets you, at least, closer to the former.

It's hard due to the image needing to have whatever the project developer needs in terms of tools, runtimes etc. so it's not easy to create ready-made images.
