Our pet #dogs have a far greater effect on the #environment than we would like to be the case. Pets attack wildlife, disturb habitats, shed toxic flea treatments, eat vast amounts of meat.
Good boy or bad dog? Our 1 billion pet dogs do real environmental damage
We don’t want to admit it, but our beloved pet dogs do a lot of environmental damage, from killing or terrifying wildlife to emissions from pet food.

#vaccines work. Newborn babies are among the biggest beneficiaries of vaccines. 50 years ago, nearly 10/100 babies died in their first year of life. Now fewer than 3/100 babies do. Since 1974, vaccination has averted 101 million deaths globally in infants under one.
