I'd never previously seen this creature when there's an error in the Steam client, but I kind of love his befuddled look. Like, "We're not supposed to be seeing each other."

Hot dogs from heaven, or hot dogs from hell?

Oh, thank goodness. I don’t know how we made it this far without this.

The year is 2035, and the internet is now just entirely videos of people eating food in their cars.

Some will understand; others will not. Neither is wrong. ⭕️

Well, the Emms got swept by the Ohs, the worst team in the AL, but at least I sat right beneath the cable cam.

He found an old baseball at the dog park and is very pleased.

It’s a Grok parody account on Twitter. This one seems to be an actual bot, though, so probably not actually related. 😞

This is a good representation of one of the things I hate about Instagram: the way it superimposes its shit over content, blocking your view, or in this case, your ability to interact with the content the way it was intended. Try clicking that link without activating the text box.

Great picks tonight!

On a side note: Interesting that the John Prine track didn’t make it to Bluesky. 🤔 (It was the track that nudged me into making this post, so I noticed its conspicuous absence.)

I've seen the future, and it's just different vendor's AI programs talking to one another.

NYT Cooking, did you really implement the "New Folder" functionality in the saved recipe screen so pops up a modal dialog, but _does not put the focus on the text field_? After clicking the button, I need to manually move the pointer and click the text field. C'mon, guys, this is day one shit.

We've got fuchsia, folks, over the airport. I repeat: we've got fuchsia. 🙈

Attention: For the next 30-60 minutes, will now see all Seattle-area residents post about thunder and lightning: this rarely happens here. Thank you.

Love to have my order canceled after I’ve already checked out. 😞 How does anyone even manage to buy a GPU anymore?

How is Ticketmaster such a fetid piece of shit? There's always, always going to be something that trips you up somewhere in the process. Today? It was not letting me pay. I tried three valid payment methods while helplessly watching the clock tick down to zero. Tickets released, event sold out.

When he’s very excited, he holds his ball sticking out the side of his mouth, like a cigar.

Watching Dune Prophecy and I’m convinced they made these ships have that stupid pointy thing that sticks out the starboard side (only!) and folds up into the ship when landing just to be sure I’d yell at the TV about how ridiculous this is.

He and his band are amazing, energetic live performers, too! I caught them by chance at Thing NW in 2023, having no idea what they were about or what to expect, and was thoroughly impressed.
