Should Wilson have scored? Yes. Was it also great defending from Chiesa? Also Yes. Those fine margins just didn't drop for us today and we've been punished from an error, but to come away frustrated not to get 3pts at Anfield. These players once again justify the pride I have in my club. #SAFC

Would also potentially look at Brobbey for his physicality in the rain and think Traore hasn't been great today, so maybe Mayenda at RW to keep Talbi LW, or move Talbi to RW and bring Adingra or Mundle on. We've collected 9pts from losing positions, still all to play for only a 1 goal deficit. #SAFC

Yes, tactically 5-back limited us in attack and didn't work, RLB got that wrong today. But let's not forget it worked against Chelsea, Arsenal, and Everton 2nd half. It can be effective in specific games, like the 442 last season. Let's not completely write it off, we will need it again imo. #SAFC

FWIW, Sunderland have won 7pts from losing positions this season, including the win at Chelsea last week and Brentford at home earlier in the season. This game is far from over, RLB will make tweaks, the lads will know they werent at it first 30mins. Til the end lads, right Til the very end. #SAFC

Think Traore has not been effective and would look to Talbi at some point in the 2nd half against tired legs and for his defensive capabilities. Otherwise so far, so good, just need to stay switched on and manage the game, get a second goal and be careful for any threat they will pose. #SAFC
