3-0, of course disappointing, but first time this season I've thought the quality of the opposition was too much for us. Outside of a lack of our typical aggression and O'Nien's mad red card, don't think we did much wrong over the 90. City were great, just need to take the lesson and move on. #SAFC

Haven't done much wrong imo, just City's quality has undone us. Dias screamer, Gvardiol from a corner, which we defended poorly. Otherwise defended well, need to up intensity and aggression 2nd half, wouldn't also go Brobbey 2nd half for physicality to get us up the pitch. C'MON SUNDERLAND!!! #SAFC

A show of how far we've come that we are frustrated to come away from Anfield with a point. A fantastic point and another on the board, defended fantastically, one error and a missed chances away from potentially 3pts. The immense pride this team keep giving me, couldn't be prouder, unreal. #SAFC

Very poor and well below usual standards with only the refs performance worse than ours today. Just weren't at it, lacked intensity, creativity and energy levels below par, deserved result. A bad day at the office, it happens, only our 3rd loss, now back at home next to try and bounce back. #SAFC

1st half before the Ballard sub, gave us too much to do. The system change improved us, we had chances, but didn't click in attack today. It is what it is, days like this will happen, off-days where it just doesn't click. They kept trying, a case of learn from it and moving on to the next one. #SAFC

Traore brings Prem experience with Aston Villa, and is a player who got 10 goals, 8 assists last season. For only £2.5M, this deal adds depth for a bargain price. Summer window done. #SAFC
