Settling down to read some good books, write a short story (for an anthology due 2025), then write something else, and generally clear up the debris from a lifetime mis-spent working in theatre (and writing scripts for classic Doctor Who).
For dwellers in the British Isles... The Met Office's online map of rainfall radar is a good way of anticipating rain. Ignore its forecast (which is reasonable), and instead go back over an hour or two of actual observations. www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/maps...
