I was about to start building a new PC but maybe I'll hold off until the tech bubble pops
I'm really glad I'm not in the market for any PC upgrades at the moment because fuck AI. I saw this screenshot and yes, that price is accurate, I just checked and that's how much it is for me too.

Logged in today after many months away and learned that my friend Leif died back in May. I'm shocked and horrified that I missed the news. www.pcgamer.com/gaming-indus...
Remembering Leif Johnson, the gaming industry's one and only cowboy poet
Leif was a historian, a fountain pen connoisseur, and a kind soul who brought a remarkably eclectic background to his time writing about games.

After we settled down in the UK, the first thing we did was get a cat. The cat that chose us at the shelter had an older brother, and that's how we ended up with two: Monty (wise, regal, stupid) and Pixel (insane, goblin, stupid)

After traveling around Europe for two years, my now-wife and I settled down in Edinburgh. It's my favorite city in the world. I miss my friends in Texas but I know I could never go back.

I've had an account here for a while, but the slow, shitty death of Twitter has finally pushed me over to active use.

I'm Ian, a writer living in Scotland. I'm a former Texan, former digital nomad and full-time traveler.

Hi! Let's make this place better than the last place.

For me, Twitter died when I realized I couldn't post anything--no matter how innocuous--without getting hate. When I was working on Fable, I posted that I was excited to go home for xmas because I hadn't seen my family in years. The response? "Fuck you. Where's Fable?" 💀
