This was wonderful. Read it first time last year at 58 and had so many questions, detested Heathcliffe and ranked it one of my books of the year. Trapped is a great way to describe the reading experience @andrewmale.bsky.social

Definitely up for more detail on “commandment artist”. Wonder if that’s Moses.
I'm listening to a transcription of an interview that was half in French, half in English and seeing what the transcription engine makes of the French is a delight. Apparently, my interviewee just said "Black history, Lucy design, gadget, polar, petroleum pizza, commandment artist."

Yes Moby-Dick is the best book I have ever read. You do not have to agree. In fact, I don't want you to! Tell me your one, and I will eventually get round ot it. Don't be shy. We're all here to celebrate whatever this is. Just name it.
This is a bit of the very, very best book I have ever read. You should try it too. There is NOTHING like it. OILY VINTAGES #QueuingForCrumble

The songs that the Beatles recorded in a 6 week period in April/May 1966 were Tomorrow Never Knows, Got To Get You Into My Life, Love You To, Paperback Writer, Rain, Dr Robert, And Your Bird Can Sing, Taxman, I'm Only Sleeping, Eleanor Rigby. Just ponder that for a moment.

First Christmas without dad. Cried when I saw the card he’d done before he passed away. It’ll get better
