I denounce Gwen Stefani. I grieve that I invested so much in a person who has shown that she has no values.

Thankfully, there are so many artists with moral fiber who are so much better than she ever was.

Now, she’s selling an anti-choice prayer app, embracing f@scism, and enjoying being a “Serena Joy Waterford”, having had the gaul to speak out for women when she was young and not yet immensely wealthy; only to turn on us all and pull the ladder up after herself.

Years of her refusing responsibility for cultural appropriation, especially with her infantilizing and stereotyping her human prop “Harajuku Girls”, was the tip of the iceberg.

You couldn’t pay me to listen to her now.

I idolized Gwen, and listened to No Doubt’s music pretty regularly from childhood all the way up through college.

I bought every album, had Bob Masse signed limited edition art posters from their shows in my bedroom, and even dressed as Gwen Stefani (During the pink haired, “Return of Saturn” era.) for Halloween in the seventh grade.

But, I know from reading, study, and critical thought; that homesteading, tradwifery, forced birthing, and rejecting science based medicine is all a grift!

I’m an avid organic gardener and an environmentalist.

I’m an artist and I love making things with my hands.

I’m chronically ill and have trauma from the medical establishment.

I hope someone gets folks N95 masks and air purifiers
