Absolute fucking BARS. Well worth listening/sharing Nora break down the how-we-got-here and what-to-do-about-it of the housing crisis and unfettered corporate control in Canada in about 10 minutes. Bravo!
Check out my interview with CBC Quebec about how corporations are destroying Canada and how we desperately need to reign them in and take a lot of their profits.

Common purity tests in 2025:

"why are you wearing a mask"

"do you support Hamas"

"what about women's sports"
I think progressives have had a problem with "purity tests" (the need for all leaders to have tightly aligned perspectives or else stay quiet about it)

And I think the Democratic Party has had a problem with being...undemocratic - with too much power in the institution and not in the people.

Be warned America: We have deployed our greatest weapon. Countless amphibious attack squadrons are en route to darken your skies and foul your waterways. Their hisses will haunt your dreams and you know what? We're not sorry. 🍁

Elevating this conversation and increasing news coverage is what we need; our spending makes little difference sadly. While I believe supporting businesses that "do right" by society is obviously good and moral, punishing or removing the ones that don't can only be achieved by political organizing.
I think it’s really important we identify the companies that are doing the right thing and reward them with our business.
NOW: More than 98% of #Costco shareholders have just rejected an anti-DEI measure

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:

Millenials and gen Z never had a chance. Let this article be your "we will fight them on the beaches" moment.
Here's my new piece. It's a deep dive into why Millennials have been infantilized and why teenagerness has been extended into young adulthood: it's a tool of social control to render entire generations incapable of organizing to fight back.

I'm scared that "this is not who we are" tactics against #poiliever will fail in Canada just as they did for the Dems in the US. People are broke, angry and racist. Not saying the left should run a hateful campaign like PP but political messaging must meet people where they're at. #cdnpoli
