not exercising can also go wrong really easily unfortunately so I do probably need to find a time to do a lap around my block or something at least

I want to try to give myself that same grace day-to-day. to try my best, but also show myself compassion when I fall short of my own expectations.

and I hope that my future self gives me the same grace I give my past self.

but like... I was trying! I look at those notes now and see a level of effort that I wouldn't put in today. I see a girl struggling, but trying her damnedest to keep going.
