I've concluded that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were start of the slide to the far right. We were so scared after one big attack that we were willing to give away all of our freedoms. And over the course of the last 20+ years, we have.

Was at a cybersecurity industry event. AI is being used by hackers and it’s being used by cybersec to recognize attacks.
I don’t think the day is far off where competing AIs will fight entire cyber battles at speeds humans cannot comprehend and we only know about them after they are over.

What I don’t think is being discussed enough is the very real possibility that Trump is just a tool.
Trump is clearly a tired old man whose mind is in decline. He’d rather play golf.
But he’s beholden to… who, the Russians? The lazy demented old man isn’t doing all of this in his own.

What I don’t think is being discussed enough is the very real possibility that Trump is just a tool.

What’s a movie that you consider underrated or unseen?
For me it’s 2017’s “Atomic Blonde”. Amazing cast, and an 80s GenX soundtrack that slaps.
And here’s a hint: you need to watch it twice. The dialogue in many scenes takes on a completely different meaning once you know what’s really going on.
