My next door neighbour feeds the birds, who drop things on the ground and bring rats - which he then puts rat poison out for.
I put something out for the birds the other day (I don’t normally) and I saw a rat come and take it.
I was pleased for the rat 🐀

The people I know doing most to look after (what’s left of) our dying planet are people who call themselves ‘doomers’..seemingly the only ones who acknowledge the problems - in their entirety - yet still care.

..a second said ‘perhaps they’re having a day off’ (I kid you not)
