A little respite for my followers today
Pine and deciduous branches line the sides of the Mosquito River in northern Michigan. The gentle rapids are stained almost black from the tannins of decaying pine trees further upstream The Grand Portal of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in northern Michigan. Autumn reds and greens color the tops of 200-foot limestone cliffs as the teal waters Lake Superior churn below. In the distance there is a stone arch, carved by a millennia of waves A forested path through Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in northern Michigan.
