Now I am part of a WhatsApp group where everyone welcomes every new member. I think I’m getting old.

Roof Knocking.

I have started crossposting between #Bsky and #Twitter aka #X, using a script.

Here is my experience and a how-to.

(Unfortunately, it is not a simple plug-and-play issue or a fancy app, and you need a #Python installation & some Python knowledge.) 1/

I don’t think you can avoid certain people by moving from Twitter to Blue Sky. And probably the tone got worse over there, yes. But I think it was never extremely peaceful, but the moderation was better before Mr Murks took over. Good to have an alternative.

I love it when people ask me where I come from because they can't place my accent.

Ok, truth telling time. Do you filter who you give your BlueSky codes to or hand them out to whoever asks first come first serve? 📉📈
#EconSky: Supply and demand, or "benevolent" central planner? (all for the sake of keeping the good vibes here) How about you, #eduskyers?

Do you think it’s an indicator of personality whether one writes 📉📈 or 📈📉?

The temptation is great to give in to shitposting.

How do you all manage to express interesting and serious thoughts on a regular basis?

One result of companies insisting on “back to the office” policy is, that employees who are between “healthy” and “sick enough for sick leave” are coming to the office.

Who’s in London end of October/early November?

Just anecdotal, but the apartment for sale in our block appears to have been on the market for a long time.
Surprising given this tight housing market in Dublin.

How do we pronounce #Econsky? Is the *sky* bit as in "Green green grass, blue blue sky" or as in "Dostoevsky"?

Tax identification number or tax number? Since that is nothing I need frequently it confuses me every time.

What kind of post would have to be published by your account so that others know 100% that it's not you?

Most of the time I had no idea what was going on. But it was thrilling and I’ll try to understand more until the next match.
First time I’ll watch a rugby match tonight. My partners home country vs the country we are living in. I guess it’s a win-win match.

Exploring another part of Irland this weekend.
Limerick City is underrated. If you visit Ireland and have a day, check it out.

This really feels like a family chat out of control. I’m tempted to leave the “current affairs” and political accounts behind on Twitter, enjoying the good vibes here.

I just got started with Python for Data Science & Machine Learning & I am impressed how many different ways I can choose to find a solution to my problem. I am currently in the middle of a Udemy class from Pierian Data to learn the basics.

I'd appreciate recommendations for further learning. 📈📉
💡 We just published a tutorial on getting started with #CausalAI using #DoWhy in Python at DataCamp. Soon there will also be a podcast released in which I get deeper into the topic of causality and why it's crucial for effective business decision-making.
