Trying to use types in python has only made my life harder. I do love type hints for my own sanity, but actual checking lifts python higher than Rust in frustration.

Lutris and Steam have made that by and large a non-issue these days. There are of course some that don’t work or not well, but generally most major games function.

Problem is society and media teaches people to value luxury everything. It’s fine for there to be expensive options, but then capitalism makes it easy to access those things that people actually can’t afford. Karma, Affirm, and the others are awful things.

I agree entirely, but people who haven’t done it before need an easy way to understand why you’d pick one district over another. Even me as a tech guy isn’t entirely sure why I’d pick openSUSE vs Ubuntu or Fedora. They all seem more or less the same in functionality for most users.

Traditional mobile phone batteries are made of LCO, which are also themselves not very long, lasting compared to automotive type cells (NMC/LFP), which can last up to 10 times as many cycles. Everything is a sliding scale.

Silicon is blended with graphite usually from 10 to up to 50% but quality varies highly per supplier, and there are really only three main producers in the world close to commercial scale.
