Plus some more design work. These two are established characters I have. In this version of their story they're barely recognizable from the originals, but that's OK.

Ree is a teenage girl with long blonde hair, gold eyes, a vest with gold buttons and trim, red boots, and gold goggles. She is smeared in what looks like soot and oil and smiling. Bullet points next to her list: "REE" - not a mechanic - nowhere CLOSE to a mechanic - firm believer in "if you don't know how to do something, bullshit it until you do - experienced dimensional traveler Kora is a shorter girl with short white hair, a puffy vest and a red crop top, and black cargo pants. She has black fingerless gloves and an earring with a cuff on her left ear. Her bullet points read: "KORA" - also not a mechanic - is pretty sure this isn't how it works but doesn't know enough to object in any meaningful way - doctor in training

Sketched thumbnails of the comic depicted above, with absolutely no dialogue. It's a mess. It's such a mess. Design work of Jackie, Keeara, and the nightcrawlers. Jackie is a Black teenager with bright cyan locs, a headband, and is dressed distinctly ghetto fabulous in all black, a black T-shirt with some heavy metal band on it, ripped denim shorts, torn fishnets on both her legs and arms, and platform boots. She's wearing black lipstick and killer eyeliner (you go, Jackie). Next to her are various bullet points: "JACKIE KELLEY" - short for "Jackeline" - I've no idea why I even designed her (she's voice only in this comic) - average teen girl (mostly) - she and Keeara became friends because they both have K surnames and were constantly seated next to each other - a good friend, just tired Keeara is also a Black teenager, but she's dressed simpler with black cuffed jeans, a white tank top, and pink sneakers. Her hair is done in beaded braids in pink, blue, and orange, and she has beaded bracelets around her right wrist as well. She is in a fighting stance. Next to her are also various bullet points: "KEEARA KNIGHT" - probably not a comic-friendly design, but who cares (not me) - average teen girl (mostly) - just wanted to hang out with her friends for ONE day - she has an entire background in which her younger brother is the crypid hunter, but cryptids only show up for Keeara, but that didn't end up being necessary for the comic The Nightcrawlers have various concept designs, from fuzzy to smooth to A-shaped. Their bullet points are: "FRESNO NIGHTCRAWLER" - you know what these are A final text box says, "Why did I make these designs in color when the comic is b/w? no idea. they look cool though"
