The untimely passing of wave seven contributor @ivordaniel.bsky.social is such sad news. Thoughts, love and poetry aplenty go out to his bereaved family.

As a small tribute to Ivor – and a chance again to hear him read – there's a direct link to his page from @iambapoet.com's home page.

On the day the 15 poets of wave twenty-one of @iambapoet.com were announced, some more exciting news.

The special guest poet for winter 2026 (that's wave twenty-eight) is none other than poetry grandee @dharmabam.bsky.social – Don Paterson, for those unfamiliar with his handle here on Bluesky.

In two hours' time, as the clock strikes midnight on the first day of the northern hemisphere's meteorological spring, the 15 poets of wave twenty-one of @iambapoet.com will be named.

Five years ago today, @iambapoet.com was born. Just look how far we've come. Twenty waves and counting, 320 poets (so far), and almost 1,000 poems.

Thank you to the poets who've appeared – and to those who've visited, read, listened and shared. This celebration is for us all.
