For anyone finding this out of context, the argument wasn't that Naruto *is* Shakespeare, but that we analyze Shakespeare for its literary merit when it was media for the masses... just like shonen series!

I miss the Borutwt community activity and many mutuals, but if it's between having rabid assholes in the fandom and this slower, kinder community, I'm happy to live with the latter.

I would be disappointed if they don't make good ani original arcs in between so that the manga can have time to move forward and at the same time we can explore the world of Narutoverse more
