Internet Old Man, sorry. Films, music, games, photography, cats. Frequently fails to quit that politics addiction.

Post Rock, Ergo Propter Rock
Ah, that would explain it.

I loved the movie as a whole, but it was practically a radio play for a few minutes.

It’s bizarre; the final episode is mostly about Little Mix struggling to be the first girl band taken seriously despite coming from a Saturday evening talent show. I spent the whole episode shouting at the telly.

Even on my OLED the night sequence in that is a bit much.

Pretty sure it didn’t.

Phew. I’ve also opened the Porsche page on Autotrader if we’re going to get excessively taxed on my small EV anyway, so well done on the climate commitments, Reeves.

It’s totally not your fault. It’s just that I’m furious and you’re in the way, sorry.
November 26, 2025 at 1:54 PM
That’s fine, then; I guess the rest of us will bail them out as usual.
November 26, 2025 at 1:41 PM
Just how far does it need to come back down before they stop this nonsense?

Still freezing fuel duty, I see. Got to keep those oil companies on board.

Oooh, nice. Thanks!

It’s not even true; the US proposal gives Russia more than it currently has.

Oh wow; love his Omega Class Destroyer

I do hope they pay inheritance tax soon.

That’s it - Colombia was desperately sad, but only Challenger involved watching childhood heroes die in front of us.

Thanks - in which case I’m definitely catching up. I think it was just that after reliving one of the two most distressing TV moments of my younger years (other was Senna) the caption of NEXT TIME: COSMONAUTS felt like a threat.

Indeed one of the reasons FAM is the best is because the reality of spaceflight is so terrifyingly dangerous.

I had no intention of watching the whole thing. But that opening gag, after the credits, has just destroyed me somehow.

To this day, I’m not great at remembering not to confuse normal people by following a request to “tell me everything” with “tell me about… Subscriber Trunk Dialling.”

But then, I’ve never quite stopped believing that God really is Sir Ralph Richardson.

There's this weird mindset that voters won't object to a breaking of tax promises is if it's done in a sufficiently convoluted way. Like they're fae creatures impressed you found a way around their contract terms or something.

It still makes the fundamental mistake of being a rock album instead of a dance album, but I guess it’s a good one? It’s not a genre I really get.

I really need to try episode 2. Having listened to the last ten minutes of the first with my eyes closed, because it’s upsetting enough to just listen to Challenger footage thanks, I’m quite aware that this is going to be a major factor of any telling of the Soviet side.
