It’s effectively passing off fan audios as the real thing. And there’s something downright weird, bordering on deceitful, when they’ve a recast actor in a main role but the original actor on the artwork.

Again, if the main actor is still alive, and isn’t keen on doing your audios, maybe take it as a sign not to do any about them rather than recasting for the Temu version because you’ve never found a quick buck you can’t pass up.
