The enthusiasm with which I answer scam calls pretending to be Amazon, Bell, Rogers, or the CRA is directly proportional to how many job applications I have out and how likely it is that it’s a school or health admin. (We recently purchased this red rotary phone, but it isn’t plugged in to anything)

Innovative yet lazy knee-jerk approach but is it any worse than the in-your-face dehumanizing disrespect of folding your arms, booing, hurling objects, or arriving late that routinely happens to opening acts? An artist bouncing back from this derision just sets the scene for a biopic in 60 years.
