Exactly. Like I’m never going to be nasty but I WILL be pushing back to have the wrong righted 😌

It’s so fun to see them play but also.. So stressful 😩 it’s the second time I’ve seen him wipe out going 100 mph in the wet grass just in the last three days. Hoping he learned his lesson yesterday🤞

Omg big things!! It is so nerve wracking. I’m going to be viewing places next summer to send Malley to when he’s ready and I’m really hoping to find something that checks these boxes 🤞

Keep him up. Vet said to see of there’s any swelling or additional soreness tomorrow and call if needed. Now I’m going to stress obsessively 😣 damn baby horses

You just use regular human wipes? Maybe I need to bring some out, cause the towel situation is… not pretty 🫨

That is encouraging!!

Mine go without blankets when it’s over 30 and are happy as clams! Unclipped, of course.

Ugh I’m sorry you deal with it too but I’m glad we’re not alone! His is on/off but mostly on all year. I’ve tried suuuper leafy alfalfa and really fine grass hay with not too much of a difference after awhile. I don’t want to separate him and feed him all hay pellet mash but I may be getting there..

Ugh thank you!! It is basically shitsicle deicing and hauling hot water buckets out from the house nearly every day 😅

I love to see a single father doing his best

Old horses are the best. 🥹 So much to learn from them. Lefty possibly has the most self-preservation I’ve ever seen in a horse and it blows my mind. I hope it rubs off on my younger two 🤣

Feel free to respond with your own FWS ass cleaning routine, ideally taking into account that it is consistently below freezing to below 0 here for the winter. *also the tail bandage is not a long term solution, is mindfully wrapped for tightness, and is not left on for longer than a day
