Meanwhile there is still no signal here and my phone is now an iPod Touch without a headphone jack (but with rudimentary satellite connectivit)

Because this one has a digital tuner in it, one could in theory watch over the air TV on it even now
A lot of such sets can easily be modded for component video as an added bonus
My largest set is a 27” Panasonic with actually quite good TVL (horizontal) resolution
