I hear a lot of people complaining about the quality of new cassette mechanisms even though Sony was selling millions of these throughout the 80s and 90s
Metal flywheel is nice though

You know it’s a good day when you are plugging super sensitive 18Ω IEMs into this thing
Truth be told it handles them shockingly well, with only barely perceivable hiss at max volume with no input connected.
But it is a dramatic increase in volume with even the slightest touch of the knob.

Rate my PSU cables

Everything is rated for 30A

Because this one has a digital tuner in it, one could in theory watch over the air TV on it even now
A lot of such sets can easily be modded for component video as an added bonus
My largest set is a 27” Panasonic with actually quite good TVL (horizontal) resolution

I now have two of these things, but this one has a problem where the OSD is interfering with the waveform monitor, and the waveform monitor doesn’t work at all
My TV station equipment collection is growing!

One thing a meter has to have for me are separate connections for all current ranges, I do NOT want to blow an expensive fuse or my expensive meter just because I had the range switch on the wrong position
