Retired software / eCommerce engineer, tired of seeing too many people/companies whose judgement is so poor that they still use Meta, Inc products in 2026.
Love this video! GO, Deborah!

I can't prove it but I strongly suspect that the recent ban in Australia for those under 16 is at least partially a result of the hard work and sacrifice you and a few others have provided to bring us awareness of Meta's damage. Even if the ban is unenforceable, it sends a strong message. Thank you!

Right on, Luther . Yes, negative splits on his 1st marathon is unheard of as it is, but then add his weight of 200 lb and being a taller guy and easy target for everyone else to draft off of, makes the story pretty impressive! Super smart guy, but wouldn't expect less from one of SD's sponsees.👍

This is very bad. So disappointed in WSJ! I did not get it, but I'll try a few more times. Hopefully enough people cancelled their WSJ subscriptions, causing them to stop. Does Meta think we are idiots? Their platforms will never be safe - not in our lifetime and definitely not for teens. BAD WSJ!

Good job, Luther.

And Meta - AKA FaceBroke!

Agree. The wealthiest of the wealthy will far more easily stay in power if we continue to use their products, whether we pay with our data or our money.

It has been so great following you since 2021, Jeff! Your work helps explain why our society is so messed up in so many areas!

You have been great about avoiding these, @musicblues56.bsky.social , and I tremendously respect your actions matching your words, but as for the majority of those I see claiming to oppose Trump, not so much.

It would probably happen much faster if we stopped using products of the wealthiest, whom his policies seem to support: FaceBroke, Tesla, Amazon.

Sorry NVM, Jeff. I got caught by the unusual context - of course you need to use it to continue to help discover and report on the problems. 🤦 Will try to keep up, Jeff.

Too funny, @jeffhorwitz.bsky.social . But I find it difficult to believe why it's anything more than bad judgment to use any Meta products in 2025, especially after reading your book, Broken Code. When large companies do very bad things, we should probably all stop using their products, right?
