This is truly awful. Working in the non profit human services field, I know how hard these other organizations were working for that money. How can anyone in good faith justify allotting a majority of those funds to an organization that didn’t have enough of an impact to qualify for a ‘23 tax filing

This is truly awful. Working in the non profit human services field, I know how hard these other organizations were working for that money. This is so disheartening to hear facing a $4 billion deficit while he plunders from the funding of public education and ponders the future funding of vital human services.
Across Washington, cities and counties need help to hire well-trained officers.
