Love the rainbow buttons! Does it have microswitches for the joystick? Which computer/console does it work with? 🌈

Yeah, the release of SFII on the consoles definitely left a mark of controller design going forward. For me as a fan of platform-, action adventure and RPG-games three buttons are just fine. I'm currently playing Wonder Boy in Monster World and the interface is so elegant and easy to use.

The controller in the photo is a later revision 3-button controller, I think. It came with a Mega Drive II and it has the D-Pad mechanics on the back side of the PCB. It feels so much more precise than the 3-button controllers that came with my childhood Mega Drive (1).

Gotcha! This is the later revision of the 3-button controller. The D-Pad feels similar to the Saturn controller and is on the back side of the PCB. I think it came with my Mega Drive II. I'm playing Sonic 3 with it currently and it feels super responsive.

Ja, ich denke er meinte: "Das Gendern aus ideologischen Gründen lehnen wir ab." Aber da er es aus ideologischen Gründen ablehnt ist es tatsächlich irgndwie egal.
