The icon gets chunkier with every release.
List of Visual Studio versions, showing 2026, 2022, and 2019. The icon for 2019 has noticeably slimmer lines than the others. The one for 2026 appears thicker (I think) than the one for 2022 because of the gradients used and because it has rounded corners.

One thing I'm really enjoying after degoogling my email is maintaining an empty inbox. "Search don't sort" was a mistake I think, especially now that search doesn't even work anymore.

Discovered yesterday that one of the projects I maintain has a 16-bit application involved in its build process, and that's why it always had to be built on a specific computer (which is now dying).
Windows dialog box with the title "Unsupported 16-Bit Application". The text says it is not compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows, and to contact the application vendor for an updated version.

An "American Chopper Argument" meme. In the first panel the angry father says: Michael Burnam adds depth to Spock's character". In the second panel the equally angry son replies "He never mentioned having an adopted sister ever!". In the third panel the even angrier father retorts: "He never mentioned having a half-brother either!". In the fourth panel the son throws a chair and screams: "Star Trek V sucked". In the last panel the father is pointing his finger and says: "Your pain runs deep. Share it with me." In case you haven't see Star Trek V the last panel uses Spock's half-brother Sybok's line from the movie, and yes, that movie sucked.

I think people should install Linux on their computers that won't support Windows 11... unless they don't want to, or Linux doesn't work for them. Microsoft should be forced to continue supporting those computers anyway.

Stretching initiated. Half thinking of getting another piercing. Wish I still had my conch...

Photo of my ear. I have two piercings in my lobe. The bottom one has a 4G tunnel in it, it has been stretched to that size before but has had a smaller ring in it for a while. The upper one has a 12G taper in it. It had a 16G ring in it until now and has never been stretched before.
