We beat Angra Mainyu! On stream! I didn't shill my stream very much over here, but I streamed the entire journey.
What an amazing game, 11/10, best game in the series in my opinion. Angra Mainyu is an immensely satisfying fight, and the ending scene is very emotional and beautiful.

TH2DT early game consists of freezing and/or silencing the boss and proceeding to hit them while they can do absolutely nothing in return

Kinda crazy you get a Kunoichi at level 16. As early as the 5th floor you get Phoenix which is a very strong AoE skill, and you can start doing Shadow Sew nonsense to cheese bosses.

Samurai with Raging Smash instead of Moonlight Purgatory is pretty good actually. I see no reason to use Dark Lord instead.

Tried with DL instead and yes it deals more damage but it's not worth leveling DL just for this fight since SA deals more damage than DL in every other case so just use SA throughout the game and for this fight too.

New strat is very effective. The only thing that still feels bad in this fight is that, while Samurai makes phase one 5 times faster, it is so bad in phase 2 because Angra Mainyu has a super high Avenger rate so Moonlight Purgatory deals less damage than Kunoichi.

Shifted around some gear. With the White Emperor's Mask, Master Idol can survive Angra Mainyu's magic nuke, which is its hardest hitting attack. Since MI dying was the greatest danger in this fight, with this new setup the fight is much easier.

You cannot comprehend how upset I am that they ruined this class to the point of being the uncontested worst class in the game and they didn't even spare Shadow Sew.
