plague has levels to it. when you can see during the day, it's about 7 which is dangerous. gotta clear it up or infect someone else. you can reset it in camps if you can't get rid of it right now but towns are iffy :)

well there isn't much of it, all the hidden paths are crumbled and a ton of new areas open. if you had the game modded to not register I'd assume this is where the dlc would start you as it was assumed east in the leak

it levels up, when it goes to the tail end and jumps it'll reset lower. you can have it and just camp to push it. or you know, cleanse it lol

just sneak into battahl or the volcanic island. there's more but it spaces them weird and thr impactful ones really only show in one spot. I remember 90 hours in that I found a monster I had never seen.
