Men are increasingly turning to social media and AI chatbots to get health advice - especially younger men and those from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Healthwatch England explores how this shift presents both risks and opportunities for the NHS in staying visible, trusted and relevant online ⬇️
AI and algorithms in healthcare – what are the risks and opportunities for the NHS?
Our latest research shows that while most men turn to the NHS most often for information on staying healthy, one in five are now using platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and almost one in 10 are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots.

You can call 0800 028 0077 or 111 for mental health help in Derbyshire.

There's been suggestions that this could change to one route through NHS 111. The 111 message says “press 2 if you’re in crisis” - could that wording put people off calling for advice?
