These agents smashed his car window when they could not present a warrant to detain him. We must fight for Ulises because what happened was unjust. We must also fight for Ulises to protect ourselves.

This happened just yesterday. I've sent the emails, but clearly we need to do more to reign in this state sanctioned violence.

Been part of the Vietnamese American Roundtable for a long time! Seeing its growth over the years has long been a point of pride for me. I get joy in seeing it get to the point where I am not as needed.

Got surprised by my staff for my birthday on Thursday. As an attorney, I learned to hate surprises bc that usually meant something went wrong, but these kinds of surprises are quite nice!

On the heels of a powerful gathering organized by @iceoutofca.bluesky.app in Sac, the SCC Board of Supervisors votes 5-0 to allocate an *additional* $5M to support and protect immigrant communities. The County is also preparing additional actions to prepare against the federal actions to come.

Powerful day of action calling on our state legislators and Governor @gavinnewsom.bsky.social to take action to protect our immigrant communities! Our demands: 1) pardon those with deep roots in CA and have already served their sentence and earned their freedom so that they are not punished twice;
