Raúl Grijalva was a great representative and an even better man. When I lobbied the Congress for the rights of disabled students, he’s the only one who listened himself instead of sending an aide… welcoming us like family. Arizona and the country suffer a great loss today.

This is a sad example of the ignorance and ableism that exists in many leftist conversations. A refusal to acknowledge or understand the disabled or our challenges in this movement. Yes there are other phones… but blind folks like myself can’t use them. A refusal to learn is a refusal to include 😎👩🏼‍🦯‍➡️
