I recall last year, 6yo went to an animal show and had a snake placed around her neck.

A few months later, I bought her a giant plush snake - thinking she liked them.

“Dad… I was being brave.”

How many around us are being brave everyday and we don’t know?

Can’t stop thinking about it.

Just bought my harvard shirt. In the “special instructions” section you can leave a message of support and gratitude.
Steve Kerr wore a Harvard basketball shirt after the Warriors’ win tonight: “Yes, this is me supporting Harvard. Way to go. Way to stand up to the bully.”

Mr. Abrego Garcia was illegally abducted by the Trump Admin and, by their own admission, wrongly deported to El Salvador. He shouldn’t have to spend another second away from his family.

I'm flying to El Salvador tomorrow morning to check on his condition and discuss his return.

Maybe this should read 2 trillion to 0.15 trillion
Do you know the difference between “$2 trillion” and “$150 billion”? About $2 trillion.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

This is the absolute darkest of shots, but I'm wondering if anyone knows a science-minded billfish angler in South Florida who'd be down to connect about the migrations of big pelagics from a sportsman's perspective — maybe even let me tag along on a boat. Throwing darts here!

If you're a scientist that serves on an NSF panel that got cancelled today, I'd love to talk to you about it for an NPR story. DM, email or reach out on signal.

Also people are often shocked to know how little we actually know about the lives of some of the most iconic animals.
Everyone always assumes there is lots of funding for iconic marine mammal research and conservation... and then doesn't fund it. The truth is there is almost no source of funding for this. Much easier to fund fisheries research.
