Now that it's gotten cold, Junior and Blizzard have started doing cute snuggles. Poor Fluffy is the third wheel.

I had everyone's foxy childhood crush on mine.

Saw this unfamiliar but dapper-looking beetle when harvesting catnip to dry. inaturalist pegged it as a burning blister beetle, which doesn't sound like a bug to mess with. I looked it up and they do blister your skin and you absolutely do not want to eat them. Horses have died from eating too many.

This handsome gentleman won't let me smooch him.

Take two--It's super cold tonight, and the trio are snug in their bed. Bruiser just came in and looked at them from both sides to see if there was room for him. Now he's curled up alone. 💔

Bedtime

I got my mom a camera for the garage and we just got it set up today. It's positioned for widest view, not best pics. Here's Kitten all alone in the big bed right now. Her BFFs Sam and Mama were with her earlier.

Junior and I are watching macaques tonight and this is some fucked up shit.

This is the first time I've seen black swallowtail caterpillars on my dill. Now I've got three.

They're about a year old now, they've been inside since fall, and they're still varying degrees of feral.
