You could literally just use the public library which supports authors and people of different economic status with no cost to you outside of the taxes that you already spend.

It is absolutely infuriating. Then we spend tons of money means testing people for years and half the time they end up either having to go back to work that is physically killing them or they just literally die.

Just want to be clear that this doesn’t pertain to everyone. But people often discount others benefits as unnecessary and think they are exceptional cases when really a lot of people just genuinely need help. It shouldn’t be shameful, that’s why we form societies.

Oh definitely not all people! My work revolves around disability benefits & I have to explain to people every day that while they are most certainly qualified, it doesn’t mean that their neighbor who they see on good days is unqualified.

Also the same with social security disability benefits. People really think that their invisible disability is the only one and clearly Betty across the street is only faking it for the sweet sweet government pennies.

In another campaign my character’s adopted brother seduced a sketchy thief into letting him enter their office in order to steal back a wedding dress. My character seems to have entered a bisexual throuple with two NPCs & is currently struggling with bashfulness as our DM flirts their pants off.

In one of my current campaigns our Barbarian is a butch Goliath who is casually flirting with the competition. Our characters knew eachother from college when she was my drug dealer. Now we enterprise to make cold hard cash & maaaaaaybe help save the world while we are at it.

The usefulness of the paint is more in the way it prevents people from actively shooting you or your compatriots. Note how the people that were sprayed were in the midst of aiming their guns & chemical weapons at protestors.

How many times have you inserted a beloved ttrpg character into your books? Also is that what is happening here because I just read her first chapter and it really feels like that’s what’s happening.
